Rediscover the Outdoors
Craftsbury Trails promotes awareness of the town’s network of public trails and scenic back roads for walking, running, hiking, biking, and skiing.
We aim to expand the trail system and encourage residents and visitors alike to get outside and stay active.

What We Do
We have a long-term goal of making our 3 villages safer for bikers, pedestrians and skiers, providing trail parking and access from each of the 3 village areas and connecting the villages with safe routes.
We work in coordination with the Craftsbury Outdoor Center, village businesses, Sterling College, Craftsbury Academy and most importantly with landowners willing to provide public access on their property. To them we are most grateful.
In 2021 Craftsbury Trails is undertaking a project, supported by a state VT Outdoor Recreation Economy grant, to digitally map Craftsbury’s current trail networks, make the map available to users through a trail finder app, develop a Craftsbury Trails website and kiosk design and content for an information hub near the Common and eventually in the Village.
Please contact Gina Campoli or Matt Krebs if you would like more information or want to get involved.
