Sterling College to Conclude Degree-Granting Programs after Spring 2026

After more than 65 years of experiential, environmentally-focused education, Sterling College will conclude its Associate and Bachelor’s degree programs at the end of the Spring 2026 semester.
This difficult decision, made by our Board of Trustees after careful review, reflects our commitment to transparency, responsibility, and care amid ongoing financial and enrollment challenges.
Sterling anticipates remaining fully accredited through the Summer of 2026 and is focused on supporting every student through an orderly, student-centered transition.
